Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") are established by Ratatan official store (hereinafter "the Store") regarding the use of the Store.

Article 1 (Definitions)

In these Terms, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:

  • "The Store" means the website operated by the Company on the Internet based on these Terms, which provides product and service information and online provision functions.
  • "User" means any person who accesses the Store.
  • "Services" means the services provided by the Company to Users who use the Store based on these Terms. The content and types of the Services may be changed, increased, or decreased at the Company's sole discretion, and notifications thereof will be made via the Store, email, or other communication methods.

Article 2 (Scope and Changes of Terms)

  1. These Terms apply to the use of the Services by the Company and the Users, and Users shall faithfully comply with these Terms when using the Store.
  2. Individual provisions posted on the Store or other additional provisions notified to Users by the Company constitute part of these Terms. In case of discrepancies, the individual or additional provisions take precedence.
  3. The Company may change these Terms at its sole discretion without the User's consent. The changed Terms will apply from the time the Company notifies Users by email to the registered address, posting on the Store, or other appropriate methods.
  4. The Company assumes no responsibility for any disadvantage or damage caused to Users due to such changes.

Article 3 (User Status and Restrictions)

  1. User Status:
    When a User enjoys any of the Services (including viewing information) on the Store, they are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and gained the status of a User on the Store.
  2. Restrictions on Users:
    Users shall not engage in the following acts:
    1. Using the Store by methods other than those specified by the Store.
    2. Using the Services by impersonating others.
    3. Linking data related to the Services in ways not approved by the Store.
    4. Repeatedly refusing to accept delivery, causing multiple returns to the warehouse, or repeatedly cancelling orders; such users may have their orders cancelled and shipments stopped.
    5. Unauthorized access to computer data or destruction thereof related to the Store.
    6. Interference with operation of the Services.
    7. Commercial use or profit-making activities via the Services without prior Company approval.
    8. Collecting or storing personal information of other users or attempting to do so.
    9. Acts against public order and morals or against any domestic or international laws.

Article 4 (Service Suspension)

  1. The Company may temporarily suspend all or part of the Services without prior notice if any of the following occur:
    1. Regular or emergency maintenance of equipment or systems.
    2. Force majeure such as fire, power outage, or natural disasters.
    3. Failure of telecommunications providers to fulfill duties.
    4. Other operational or technical reasons deemed necessary by the Company.
  2. The Company shall not be liable for any disadvantages or damages caused to Users or third parties by such suspension.

Article 5 (Links)

The Company is not responsible for any other sites linked from the Store or third-party sites linking to other sites. The Company disclaims responsibility for content, advertisements, products, or services on such sites, and any damages arising therefrom.

Article 6 (Copyright)

  1. Users shall not reproduce, sell, publish, or use any information (text or images) provided through the Store beyond personal use without the rights holder's consent.
  2. Users shall not allow third parties to use or disclose such information without consent.
  3. Users are responsible for resolving any issues arising from violations of this Article and shall not cause any trouble or damage to the Company.

Article 7 (Liability for Compensation)

  1. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users or third parties due to provision delays, changes, suspensions, or termination of Services, or loss/leakage of information, except as otherwise specified in the Privacy Policy regarding personal information.
  2. Users shall be responsible for resolving any damages they cause to third parties and shall not damage the Company. The Company may claim compensation from Users for damages caused by violations or illegal acts.

Article 8 (Privacy Policy)

Management and handling of User information acquired through use of the Services shall be governed by the Company's separately established Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Governing Law)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Article 10 (Jurisdiction)

In the event of disputes related to these Terms, the courts having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
